Kate Duignan
Katherine (Kate) Duignan (see Clan O Duibhgeannain) (born 1974) is a New Zealand novelist.
Duignan was born in Wellington, New Zealand, and completed an MA in Creative Writing at Victoria University of Wellington in 2000. Her first novel ''Breakwater'', based on her MA thesis, was published by Victoria University Press in 2001. Duignan held the Robert Burns Fellowship at the University of Otago in 2004.
